Cottage CQ...More Trees

Back to work on what I've come to think of it as a hybrid between a crazy quilt and a landscape quilt....

It may be hard to tell, but I've added some more pine trees to either side of the cottage, extending them down into the midground area.
More grasses and bushes coming next.....

This makes me feel as though I could walk right into it - very soothing and woodsy. I like the way the foreground is looking also.

I don't know if I could pick out the new ones, but it does seem more complete with what you added. This is so beautiful!

Adding those new trees down close really helps pull it together more. This is becoming so gorgeous! Your love shows in this piece.

This is REALLY working Allie. The depth of field idea is working as you highlight some areas using your stitching and recess others...

Brilliante!

Wonderful! That arbor is looking like a gateway to "memories".

I am sure the more you add, the better it will get!
